What is human
trafficking?
Human trafficking is
the series crime and a critical violation of human rights.Trafficking in persons is a
serious crime and a serious violation of human rights. Every year, thousands of
people include children fall into the hands of traffickers, in their own countries and around the countries. Almost
every country in the world is affected by trafficking, whether as a country of
origin, transit or destination for victims. According “The Sun Daily”, World Youth Foundation
chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam say that to stop human trafficking need all
the society solve it together. So that the human trafficking will
decrease.
In order for human trafficking to work, the traffickers either
have to force or some ways to persuade victims to accompany the trafficker to
the destination point. Common means of ensuring victim compliance with
departing from their point of origin include abduction or kidnapping, purchasing
of a child from their parents, deception through the promise of employment to
entry into a country, deception about working conditions and so on.
Annually,
between 700,000 to two million women are smuggle across international borders
and exploited for slavery or sexual services.Sex trafficking is simply known as trading of sexual hard labor. Women will become the target of
traffickers, all the society will become serious try to solve these problem. Most
believe that human trafficking only takes place in Third World countries. What
people don’t know is that human trafficking of any kind happens everywhere,
even in the advanced countries.
For my opinion, human trafficking is unethical. I cannot believe
that still have people doing human trafficking in 21st century. Traffickers try to get
them to exchange money. Traffickers like to get children to become beggar or
labour trafficking. They also treat them bad like a dog; after the children are
useless traffickers will kill them and throw it away. Day after day they feel
that these ways are easier to get money and they will forget the philosophy and
ethical.
Human trafficking is ethical?
For me that human trafficking is unethical, it will destroy happiness of family.
Children and women lost their family and the whole life will break on hands of
traffickers, if police cannot be find them. Human trafficking is that people
using violation of human rights cheat to the human trafficking victims. Base
on the philosophy, all the religion is not allow people doing human
trafficking. Reason is all the people are unique and special, they cannot
control by anyone.
But I still think
that human trafficking is unethical. Human
trafficking is not a proper way to get money, and why the traffickers cannot
find a normal job to work. I will try to understand them and because they
become social outcasts so that make them to violation of human rights. Reason is they have no choice, they also need
to survive with family. Traffickers will think that human trafficking is not
wrong because that is the job to survive in this society. They have no choice,
so that they choice this job to do even they know human trafficking is
unethical.
Mostly is because
trafficking is lost their job in society and no one can help them. So they
choice the violation job to survive. Their philosophy is break so that they
will try to cheat people to become labor trafficking. If they lost their own belief
and philosophy, they will think that doing everything is right including murder
also.
How to decrease human trafficking?
Rules
Government can solving the problem needs tough laws and enforcement. People will know that doing
human trafficking is unethical in the country. But in some countries,
punishment for human trafficking crimes is less severe than drug trafficking.
So punishment should change because it useless in 21st century
anymore. People will realize that government use tough laws and enforcement to
control human trafficking happen in the country. So people should know the severity
of doing human trafficking.
Conference
Through the International Conference on Trafficking of
Women and Children to discuss about problem face in third country. Advanced
country such as US, the UK and Singapore also can take part in this conference
to voice out the suggestion to solve the problem. So that third country will
not have human trafficking happen anymore.
Programme
People can join the non-profit organisation to help human
trafficking out of the shadow and know more about human trafficking happen in
the world. Through the non-profit organisation, traffickers can find a new jobs
opportunity in future. People can learn to communicate with the victims and
traffickers, find out what are the problem that they facing through the
non-profit organisation.
One of The Project to End Human Trafficking (PEHT)
is a non-profit organization as part of the anti-slavery movement. The initial purpose
of the founders was not to begin an organization, but simply to offer
educational lectures about human trafficking. The Project provides education lectures and
seminars locally, nationally, and internationally that address topics in human
trafficking such as culture, sex tourism, and victim identification. An
important component of the education lectures is the provision of information
about how individuals and organizations can participate in the anti-human trafficking
movement.
Nowadays,
PEHT focus in anti-trafficking league building, educational,
direct service to victims, and league with other national and international
organizations in the global fight against human trafficking. Make
sure no one will be the next victims of human trafficking.
So for my opinion is that human trafficking is unethical,
and it should be solve it as soon as possible. Joining the non-profit
organisation to help the human trafficking victims to out of the shadows and
help the traffickers to find the new job opportunity to them. Through the PEHT,
I realize that just only few of non-profit organisation to help the human trafficking
victims and traffickers. Ethics learning is very important in real life, so we
can judge what kind of way doing is ring or wrong.
